About the Cake Artist

This amazing journey all started when I was in elementary school and saw the show Cake Boss for the first time. The very next day my parents went to buy me cake mix, icing, fondant and a decorating so I could make my very first cake! I quickly found out that it looked way easier on tv than it actually was.

However I knew from this point on I would practice my craft and become a great decorator so one day I could have my own cake studio. I watched many other shows like Ace of Cakes, Cake Wars, and Cupcake Wars. I started practicing every day when I got home from school. I watch countless YouTube videos on decorating and baking. I tried new recipes and decorating techniques.

My mom signed me up for my first decorating class at Micheal’s to help get me to the next level. I got a huge cake decorating kit which allowed me to try new designs and techniques. I attended a few more classes but quickly realized with practice I could teach myself !

When i graduated college I made the big move to NYC with the intentions of working at a bakery. However things change and I realized why work for someone else’s dream when I can work even harder on mine. And I’ve been doing that ever since !
